“There is not one blade of grass, there is no color in this world, that is not intended to make men rejoice.”  – John Calvin

Altadena Park is a 4.3-acre passive park owned by Altadena Valley Presbyterian Church.  The park exists to serve our community and church by providing space to enjoy God and His creation through rest and recreation.  It offers natural areas, a large recreational field, and a walking trail that connects to the Vestavia Hills Linear Trail Park.

Altadena Valley Presbyterian Church is entrusted with the complete day-to-day care of this public space, and our congregation tends to the daily maintenance needs of Altadena Park. As the stewards of Altadena Park, we are committed to serving church and community interests and providing oversight and expertise necessary to ensure that this beautiful space remains accessible to our neighborhood as a place of respite and renewal.

Funded primarily by donations, we invest 100% of all collected funds into the upkeep and improvement of Altadena Park. If you would like to partner with us in protection, improvement, and long-term care of Altadena Park, you can contribute by following THIS LINK or by following the link below.
