Here at AVPC, we encourage attenders and members to get involved and be plugged into the ministries and life of the church. One metaphor in Scripture for the church is the metaphor of the body. The body is made up of different parts, and each part is unique and distinctly different from the other. Yet each part is necessary for the body to function as it was designed. The church is like a body in that it has many members, with many different gifts and talents – and even with these differences, each member plays their part in making God’s glory known through worship, teaching, sharing, and serving in the local church.
We do hope that you will check out the different ministries we have to offer at AVPC; from community and small groups to ministries for men and women, and a host of activities for children and youth, there are plenty of places for you to plug into our church family and find where God might be calling you to serve as a part of this church body.
